What We Will Do
I’m Koki, a freelance photographer based in Tokyo, specializing in portrait photography using natural light. I studied documentary filmmaking in university, and after graduation, I continued working in visual storytelling. This background has shaped my deep understanding of narrative and emotional expression through images.
I shoot with a Canon R6 and focus on capturing natural, genuine, and delicate moments. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in kimono photography, regularly collaborating with local kimono rental shops and studios. I offer a variety of sessions including kimono portraits, couple shoots, and special occasion photography.
During each shoot, I prioritize communication and creating a relaxed atmosphere. My style is patient and attentive. I guide clients with poses and expressions that match the outfit and setting, helping everyone feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
Session Options:
1-Hour Session (For 1-2 people)
100+ raw photos
10 edited pictures
2-Hour Session (For 3-5 people)
200+ raw photos
20 edited pictures
Half Day Session
300+ raw photos
30 edited pictures
All details such as location, timing, and extra costs must be discussed and confirmed in advance.
Pick the package that suits your group size!
Outside of photography, I enjoy observing everyday city life, spending time with animals (I live with a black-and-white cat), and exploring visual projects focused on women’s stories.
Through my lens, I hope to capture the emotions and stories that belong uniquely to you — creating timeless memories of your journey or special moments in Japan.
